The information you submitted to the network, how to set off from your computer, after which devices to reach the destination? They ended up where to go? Where is their location? How much time they passed to reach its destination?
How about the web page you requested travel around the world to your screen ultimately?
What cities they passed? How many times they jumped?
Game server sometimes slow reaction, where ever stuck?
Network communication failure, part of the website cant access, where we have a problem exactly?
You just type in the IP address or hostname, this App can answer your question above.
[Functions]
This is a visual trace route application that shows a list of the network servers from your machine to a target ip address or hostname on the map.
1. After startup, shows your position and the IP address;
2. Show the country, city, region of the IP address belongs to;
3. Show the IP routing (line), the nodes and geographic location on the map;
4. Show the latency of each hop;
5. Show the distance between your current position and node;
6. Can view the routing node information one by one.
7. Works over WiFi, EDGE or 3G network connection.
NO ADS! NO IAP!! NO functional limitness!!
[Explain]
In computer networking, a hop is one portion of the path between source and destination. Data packets pass through bridges, routers and gateways on the way. Each time packets are passed to the next device, a hop occurs.
You can put the routing node as a transit station. Before the bus arrived at the destination, you must go through multiple stations of multiple regions. If arrive at a long time between stations, that means congestion occurs. This software can vividly tells you which place is blocked. Of course, the count of the transit stations (routing) is more less, the speed is more faster (the smaller latency), your journey (network access) will be more smoothly!
[Statement]
1. The App is NOT a professional level App. The state of the IP address may not be accurate. the routing information and the geographical position is for reference only.
2. Limited by factors such as firewalls, network speed, some routing or server response time may be longer.
3. The App needs to locate permissions, so that shows your current location on the map.
If you are a network engineer or a system administrator, this application may be helpful to you.
